Dues are $40 a year per Active family or single membership, $60 for Social, Non-active members. We ask that Active members attend a few meetings per year and volunteer to work 6 hours on club trails, activities, or social events. (We promise, it's not hard work.) The membership year runs from October 1st to September 30th of the following year. Membership renewals are due by the October meeting. Meetings are held on the first Monday of October thru April at 7:30 PM -- The Hunters Nest on Big Muskego Lake.
Club membership includes:
Use of the club's groomed trail system.
Seven issues of the Wisconsin Snowmobiling News magazine.
A Christmas party for your family that includes food, drink and a gift for each child 14 and under.
A club sponsored party during the annual club trip - which takes place Superbowl weekend.
Organized Friday fish fry rides to various locations along the trail system.
The opportunity to meet the numerous land owners at the annual "Land Owners Dinner".
The club actively works to protect your snowmobiling rights.
There are a few ways to join the Icetronauts:
1. Attend a club meeting and sign up with our club secretary there. See the Home page for date, place and time.
2. Pay membership dues online securely by selecting either Active Membership or Non-active Membership and pressing the Pay Now button. The Pay Now button will take you to a secure site where you can pay with a major credit card or your Paypal account.
NOTE: If you are joining our club to get the discounted passes, it may take 2 or more weeks to get you your AWSC membership number that is required to get the discounted passes. (If you are going snowmobiling in a few days or a week, we likely will not be able to get you your AWSC membership number to you quickly enough. Our club renews/signs up members at the end of October and the end of November. The AWSC does not want us to sign members up one at a time. So, after the November sign up, we wait until we have a several memberships to upload. None of this is automated.
