About Our Club

The Muskego Icetronauts was started in December of 1968, by a group of friends interested in snowmobiling. The name "Icetronauts", a spin-off of the space program that was in full swing at the time, was chosen as the club's name.

Our club's primary purpose is to promote safe snowmobiling, provide safe trails and activities and be of service to the community of Muskego. The club and all it's members belong to the (AWSC) Association of Wisconsin Snowmobiling Clubs and the (WCSA) Waukesha County Snowmobiling Association. We currently maintain 35 miles of groomed trails, 21 of them are state funded. The club owns a groomer with an Arrow Drag that is utilized to maintain our trails.

The Club holds/sponsors many activities throughout the year including:

    • Christmas party with bowling and gifts for member's children

    • Landowner Appreciation Dinner each Fall

    • Party during the club trip each February

    • Friday Fish Fry Rides

Club trails run on private property of landowners who have given the club permission to use a specific section of their land, so please respect their private property. The landowners are courteous enough to allow us to use their land, so again, stay on the marked trails.
